- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment - Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care - Lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed - Adhere to resident rights and promote independence and dignity Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring residents - Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond in emergency situations - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Note:
