We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Technician at RLP Mechanical, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial clients.
Your expertise and technical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our clients' HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including refrigeration units, air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems, identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
Calibrate and adjust HVAC systems to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, lubricating parts, and replacing filters to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
Collaborate with clients to assess their HVAC needs, provide expert advice, and recommend appropriate solutions and upgrades.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, services rendered, and time spent on each task.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while handling refrigerants and working with electrical systems.
Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in HVAC systems to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing expertise, and providing guidance when needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
Valid HVAC technician certification or license (if required by local regulations).
At least 7 Years of experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and their components.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
Solid knowledge of refrigeration principles and practices.
Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
