Electrical Engineer

PURPOSE: The Corporate Plant Engineering team is a small core group of professionals who manage engineering and improvement projects throughout the organization.  The team then is responsible to evaluate and execute projects as identified by corporate engineering and divisional operations groups. As a key member of the team, the Corporate Electrical Engineer will report to the Corporate Electrical Engineering Manager and work closely with EHS and Plant Engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES:    Help develop and implement electrical engineering preventive maintenance program in all divisions.  Assist in establishing guidelines related to plant electrical systems to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are met.  Help develop metrics and reporting related to preventive maintenance. Help develop metrics and reporting related to utility usage and cost savings. Lead development of Corporate Electrical Safety and Arc Flash Program. Help communicate and stay on top of Engineering Services project log, cost savings documentation, and travel log. Work with key vendors to develop corporate programs to both improve operations and reduce equipment/service costs. Evaluate and identify projects related to energy efficiency and other cost reduction opportunities. Communicate information identified in Engie's RBR report. Utilize Engie's website to seek savings opportunities related to utilities. Support plant personnel and engineering in managing capital projects. Help manage constructionschedule and integrate with other engineering groups when needed on large projects. Drive cost reductions specific to site operations as identified by engineering and plant leadership team. Evaluate plants when on site to ensure safe and efficient operations.  Help plants troubleshoot electricalinfrastructure system issues and resolve problems. Help evaluate plant electrical system and capacity. Create layout options and make recommendations for equipment moves and new equipment installations. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience with power systems equipment design and troubleshooting. Experience with Autocad or ability to learn quickly. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines. Leadership qualities to facilitate teamwork and drive results with all levels of the organization. Job ID: 6262

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
